The Taiga Cordillera has many physical Characteristics. It is a mountain of peaks, winding rivers with multitudes of different flowers and wildlife.
The Taiga Cordillera occupies the Yukon and the Northwest Territories. It also occupies the north arc of the Rocky Mountain Chain. In the north there are wetlands and hills. The rivers deposit sand, mud and gravel, which creates sandstone and mudstone, and is now sedimentary rock.
In the Taiga Cordillera the climate is cold and humid. There are long dark winters, and short cold summers. The precipitation is low.
There is lots of plantlife in this ecozone. Plant growth is determined were it is located. Western Slopes have more plants than eastern ones. Northern and Eastern mountain slopes show diferences in plant growth because of the amount of sunlight they recieve.
There is lots of intersting wildlife in the Taiga Cordillera. The most common are the American Pika, the Grizlly Bear and sheep. The Taiga Cordillera has many birds in the spring and summer.
